Perfect place to bring your tiny home on wheels, or build one in Mexico for half the price that you would pay for in the U.S. Roca Azul is an RV Park and Mobile Home Community that welcomes tiny home on wheels.  Roca Azul has several full-time residents that are U.S.  and Canadian citizens, and many more seasonal residents. Our first tiny home (shipping container conversion) is being built by one of our residents that has been living here in his 5th wheel for the last 5 years. Roca Azul is located 53 km south of Guadalajara on Mexico’s largest lake, Lake Chapala.

WE came here 5 years ago with the intention to only stay one year. The park is old and it shows signs of neglect. Walkways are caving in, buildings need repairs, road work needs fixing, etc.. But, this is Mexico and that is what you will find at most RV parks. But, we love the location, on the western edge of Lake Chapala. We get a daily view of the sunrise over the lake. The park is usually quiet but can get busy on weekends and holidays. The park is secure and safe and is manned 24-hours. Two swimming pools, steam rooms, showers, courts, clubhouse and more. Free WiFi and laundry. Electric and water are included in the price. The town is 2-miles away and has everything you need. Rent is about $250 USD a month.
